The renamed Xfinity Mobile Arena unveils new sign in South Philly

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Comcast unveiled the sign for Xfinity Mobile Arena, the new name for the home of the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers at the South Philly Sports Complex. NBC10 was there for the unveiling ceremony which featured appearances from Flyers mascot Gritty and Sixers mascot Franklin. Comcast Spectacor and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment had previously announced in May that the naming rights of the venue would change in September.
